Dubai's fertility clinics are licensed by the Dubai Health Authority and follow the UAE's federal law on medically assisted reproduction. Since 2023, that law has allowed unmarried non-Muslim couples to have IVF, provided they sign a declaration of the child's parentage. Muslim couples need a marriage certificate.
Treatment has to use the couple's own eggs and sperm, because donor eggs and sperm are not permitted anywhere in the UAE. Egg and embryo freezing are both allowed, which is why many residents now freeze eggs here rather than travelling abroad.
Before you book a consultation, ask each clinic for its live birth rates for patients your age, a written estimate for one full cycle including medication, and how long you should expect from first appointment to embryo transfer.
